BUSINESS SOLUTIONS (POS)
Business solutions designed to manage your hospitality and retail operations.....
"Quality service" means more than providing tasty food, diverse menus, cheerful service and clean
facilities. The typical modern food court can consist of multiple cafeteria-style dining areas, cafes, and kiosks. Food service patrons expect to be checked out quickly and accurately, and to be able to use a variety of payment options. Many clients require that their employees be able to purchase meals with payroll deduction, declining balance or other forms of cashless payment. The success or failure of the cashier function depends on the strength and flexibility of a food service's point-of-sale (POS) technology.
To keep pace with its varied customer requirements, food service providers seek a solution that could provide a flexible and modular POS system to accommodate the needs of their client. In addition to an open environment, they require a POS solution that is easy to use and integrates with back-office, allowing site managers to focus on the business of serving food, and outsource the IT component of their businesses –
Plankomat S.A is well geared towards meeting this challenge…

BASIC OPERATION
The user is allocated an account linked to a valid access control card. In most cases, any company subsidy or monthly contribution is allocated to a separate purse or account which is updated monthly during a month-end procedure. This includes an electronic export file generated by the system for automatic payroll deduction by a 3rd party payroll system. The user may be assigned a personal or cash account which requires an upfront deposit prior to any purchases. Deposits are initiated as
and when required by individual users by presenting their cards at free standing cash loaders installed on site alternatively at the back office Administration module. Should users exceed the company contribution during the day or month, the system may be configured to switchover to the cash purse to complete the
transaction. All card based transactions are recorded as such, account balances are always reflected on the receipt and POS terminals. History transactions are recorded allowing operator to print relevant statements should queries occur.
The POS system manages traditional cash sales simply by connecting an electronic cash drawer, the software manages cash sales independently from card transactions.
