INTERFACE
The Universal MKII Controller employs an 8 bit Microprocessor running at 4 Mhz. Enhanced features ensure a high level of reliability, coupled with robust functionality.
The CPU (Central Processing Unit) manages the activities of all hardware components within the coinbox, namely the coin mechanism, the customer display, service key switch and the application interface.
The in-house development, manufacture and assembly of the Universal MKII Controller allows for the design and implementation of added functionality specific to a client’s particular requirements – contact Plankomat for your additional requirements.
Standard “key counter” interface i.e. 24 VDC deduct pulse/A4 enable loop/A3 enable loop.
OPERATION
-
Equipped with latest compact electronic coin mechanism, allowing single or multiple coin insertion, individual coin blocking and price settings both done via dip switch on site, without the need for a programming module.
-
The steel housing incorporates a separate lockable cash box, Central Processing Unit (CPU), interface logic, single or multiple coin mechanisms and override key switch facility for service mode or free vend.
-
Coins are inserted in a single coin slot, located on the front panel. Reject coins are rejected via a reject knob and returned to the reject cup below.
-
The unit is fitted with a standard interface to the copier and automatically accumulates credit upon insertion of any combination of coins. On power down the unit retains credits in its memory.
-
The number of credits is displayed on the customer display. Credit systematically decrements whenever a legitimate copy is made. When no credits are available, the copier is disabled until further coin insertion.
-
The unit caters for both A4 and A3 modes.
