MEAL BOOKING SYSTEM
The system will manage and control consumption and keep track of number of meals booked and taken, with great emphasis on simplicity, robustness and accuracy. The security access control card can be used as the “driver” for the system - creating a “one card, multiple application” environment. The system is ideal where food preparation for a large number of staff members is a requirement on a daily basis, typically the mining sector, industry and educational institutions.

OPERATION
The Meal Booking System was designed with both system user and operator in mind and a great emphasis is placed on simplicity, both at the front and back of house environments. The system manages the entire chronological food preparation process from the meal booking, the resulting meal preparation cycle and the final stage being the meal serving process.
The above illustrates the elimination of traditional food preparation techniques based on historical statistics or movements which inevitably creates food wastage, meal shortages or excess food preparation.
The Meal Booking Console is a free standing unit, located in a suitable location where users have "24/7" access and are able to present their cards and select a meal option by simply viewing a booking template and “touching” a selection of meal options which will automatically book their next meal. The card-holder details will appear on the touchscreen, clearly identifying card-holder. The status of the selection made will change to indicate to card-holder that it has been recorded. Should the card-holder wish to unbook or reverse the selection made, the selection is pressed again which will reverse the booking.
The Meal Collection Point is a free standing unit generally located at the entrance to the serving point. Users are prompted to present their cards, whose details will appear on the screen
or we can print a receipt with the necessary details of booking at the same time activate an optional turnstile. The
device will then return to its stand-by state and await the next card presentation.
The Meal Administration terminal will be located in the back-office and facilitates the complete system management and control. A comprehensive reporting module ensures meal information is available at your fingertips.
